The legend of this house and its famous balcony aroses from the first dialog in Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”, one of the most performed scenes in the history of theatre. In this suggestive wedding hall you can renew Romeo and Juliet’s vow of love among the paintings that celebrate that legendary couple. Civil weddings, blessings, renew of vows and wedding proposals are celebrated in Juliet’s House. After the ceremony greetings and pictures can be taken on the most famous balcony in the world.

Sala Guarienti

It is located in the cloister of the former convent of the Congregation of the Little Brothers of Jesus. It was built in 1230 and now it houses the Fresco Museum. According to the legend, in the monastery’s crypt there is Juliet’s tomb.

Sala Arazzi

It is located on the main floor of Palazzo Barbieri, the City Hall, and features two huge canvas (tapestries) from the late sixteenth century.

Loggia Barbaro

This room is located in the tower of the Court Palace “Palazzo del Capitano”, a thirteenth century residence once owned by the Della Scala family and rebuilt in the second half of the fourteenth century.

is the most prestigious room in the “Palazzo della Ragione”, the old City Town Hall. The majestic Palazzo is located in the southeast corner of the ancient Roman Forum between Piazza Erbe and Piazza dei Signori.
